The Off-Season is the underemphasized and underutilized period of time after the conclusion of the season where athletes decrease sport specific skill work and start to focus on functional movement and strength development. This change in focus will allow for greater gains in skill work as the foundation of their athletic pyramid grows. The off-season is divided into specific phases designed to maximize athletic development and work in collaboration with the skill-based training the athlete receives.
More specifically - it is the period of time where we can help you or your child make significant gains prior to In-Season competition, High School and Pre-Season during the Summer or make corrections for performance dips during the Winter period.
The Off-season training is a critical period in which a progressively smart training plan can reward performance once it comes time to engage in your sport again. Off-season training increases your peak performance potential, your OVERALL strength to last longer throughout the year, decreases risk of injury, maximizes performance throughout the season and is the foundation for personal growth.
